Review app access and security information in Shopify admin
The Apps area in Shopify admin now shows apps’ latest activity, access and permission details, and the status of certain security measures.
Shopify has made more information about apps connected to your store available in the admin. You can review app activity alongside security-related details.
Latest activity and security issues in the app list
The app list under Settings > Apps shows each app’s latest activity and highlights security issues that may require your attention.
Access and permissions in one section
An app’s details page brings its access, permissions, and activity together in one section. Labels identify permissions that may include sensitive data.
Review security measures
You can check whether an app uses expiring access tokens that must be renewed regularly. These tokens limit how long a stolen credential could be used.
You can also review whether IP restrictions are enforced. These restrictions allow the app to make Shopify API requests only from approved IP addresses.
