Faster checkout with Shopify POS
Shopify POS checkout has been improved for card, cash, gift card, and split payments. Receipt handling also includes new shortcuts and a pre-filled selection screen.
Shopify POS version 11.17.0 and later includes updates designed to reduce steps and speed up the checkout flow.
Fewer steps for payments
Card payments process faster. Cash, gift card, and split payments require fewer taps.
Easier receipt and email handling
When Shopify recognizes a buyer, the buyer receipt selection screen is pre-filled. Email domain shortcuts are available when entering a customer’s email manually at the register.
Availability
These checkout enhancements are available in Shopify POS version 11.17.0 and later. Shopify says the changes trim seconds off each sale.
