Filterable logs and health metrics for custom apps in the Shopify Developer Dashboard

Roipas Editorial Team

The Shopify Developer Dashboard shows custom app performance metrics, a filterable log stream, and items that need attention across apps.

The Shopify Developer Dashboard now provides information about how custom apps perform, in addition to how they are set up. Metrics, logs, and app-wide items requiring attention are available in one place.

Performance metrics for custom apps

For any custom app, you can view API request volume, error rates, webhook delivery health, and embedded admin page load speed. Each measurement has a threshold to help distinguish good from bad.

A filterable log stream

API requests, webhook deliveries, and app events appear in a single filterable stream. These logs can be reviewed to help find the cause when an app stops working.

An overview across apps

The new home page shows what needs attention across all of your apps. Agencies and developers who build your custom apps can see the same data.

With this update, the Shopify Developer Dashboard provides a central view for monitoring custom app performance and logs.
