Fulfill Shopify orders in batches
Shopify lets you group up to 250 fulfillment tasks by criteria such as product type or shipping destination and process them together.
Shopify has introduced a workflow for fulfilling orders in batches. You can group fulfillment tasks by criteria such as product type or shipping destination, then work through the selected steps together.
The batch fulfillment workflow
A batch can include up to 250 fulfillment tasks. The default workflow includes printing a pick list, buying shipping labels and printing documents, then scanning items to verify them.
Scanning a correct item plays a tone and displays a green checkmark. Scanning a wrong or extra item plays an error tone and displays a red icon.
Customize steps and tasks
You can add, delete, or rename workflow steps, and add actions to them. Drag steps and actions to change their order.
Choose which documents to print at each step and assign a staff member to each one.
Start a batch
To begin, select the orders you want to fulfill on the Orders page and click “Create batch.” You can also automatically batch your most recent unfulfilled orders.
Shopify’s batch fulfillment feature lets you group orders and arrange fulfillment steps to suit your workflow.
