Map product data by sales channel in Shopify
Shopify’s new channel mapping page lets you preview the product data sent to each sales channel and manage field mappings.
With Shopify’s new channel mapping page, you can preview how product data is sent to each sales channel and adjust the sources used for individual fields.
Manage field mappings by channel
Fields such as product title, images, product category, and color have default sources for each channel. You can change those sources or map a field using information from more than one source. For example, you can add the brand name to a product title.
Changes made for a channel apply to every product on that channel. You can also customize a field per product and channel, or bulk edit channel values for multiple products and variants.
Preview product data and spot gaps
You can preview the product data sent to each channel. A coverage percentage shown for each field helps you identify and fix missing values.
The channel mapping page brings together options for changing source fields, customizing product data by channel, and reviewing missing values.
