View app activity in Shopify Analytics
Review, compare, and filter events from supported apps in your Shopify Analytics reports.
Shopify Analytics now lets you view events from supported apps directly in reports. Add app activity—such as marketing emails sent and loyalty rewards redeemed—to the reports you already use.
Explore app activity in reports
App events let you track data over time and compare the same metric across apps. For example, you can compare the number of emails sent by different marketing apps.
You can also filter and group results using details provided by each app. These details may include campaign or message type.
How to add app events to reports
To get started, open a report and select metrics and dimensions from the App Events category in the configuration panel. You can also query app events with ShopifyQL.
Data availability
The data available depends on which of your installed apps support app events and what data they send to Shopify.
