Shop can now identify shoppers as they browse your store, before they make a purchase. The update changes checkout, account sign-in, and cart syncing for Shop users.
Faster checkout and simpler sign-in
Shop users get a faster-loading checkout and the option to sign in to their customer accounts with one tap.
The Buy with Shop Pay button is pre-filled to show the card a shopper used most recently.
Browsing activity and cart syncing
Carts sync across a shopper’s devices and stay up to date. Carts started in the Shop app carry over to your storefront, and carts started on your storefront carry over to the Shop app.
Browsing activity syncs with the shopper’s Shop account. Shop can resurface items they viewed and carts they abandoned.
Reminders for abandoned carts
Shop can remind shoppers to complete carts they left behind. The update is now supported on all browsers.
