When the tiled layout appears
Payment methods use a tiled layout when they meet certain display criteria. These include offering four or fewer payment methods.
The standard list for other configurations
For configurations that do not meet those criteria, the standard list view continues to display.
Depending on the payment method configuration, checkout displays either a tiled layout or the standard list view.
