IdeaSoft Subscription Module: Renewals to Use Current Product Prices
IdeaSoft renewal orders that have not yet been created will use the current product selling price. Subscription discounts will be calculated on that price, while past orders will remain unaffected.
IdeaSoft version V8.4.3.2 includes an update to subscription renewal pricing. When a product’s selling price changes, renewal orders for active subscriptions that have not yet been created will use the new price.
Current prices for renewal orders
If a product’s selling price changes, the current price will be used for renewal orders that have not yet been created for active subscriptions.
Discounts and past orders
If a subscription discount applies, it will be calculated using the current product price. Orders that have already been created will not be affected by price changes.
Information when creating a subscription
During subscription creation, users will be informed that renewals will be processed at the current product price.
The update applies the current product price to future subscription renewal orders and informs users of this pricing approach when they create a subscription.
